Ingredients

The following ingredients have 10 Servings
  • 16 oz pkg pound cake mix (prepared)
  • 1/4 c brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 T all-purpose flour
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/4 c nuts (finely chopped)

Instruction

  • Heavily grease a 2lb metal coffee can or equivalent and coat thickly with flour
  • Pour prepared pound cake batter in floured can
  • Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nuts and sprinkle on the top of your batter
  • Take 6-8 paper towels and cover your can (to keep condensation from dripping on your cake)
  • Put your can in your crock pot
  • Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours (watching closely)
  • Run a butter knife around the edge of the cake to loosen from can
  • Flip out of can onto a plate and then flip back right-side-up on another plate
