Ingredients
The following ingredients have 9 Servings
- 4 tbsp butter (softened, divided)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon (mixed)
- 2 tbsp butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp milk
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 350°.
- Mix together 3 tbsp butter, sugar, egg, milk, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until you have a smooth batter.
- Melt the remaining 1 tbsp of butter in the bottom of an 8x8 inch baking pan. Pour the batter into the pan.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar on top of the batter, use a toothpick or fork to swirl the cinnamon and sugar into the batter.
- Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Pull the cake out of the oven and make the vanilla glaze while the cake cools slightly.
- Mix together all of the glaze ingredients until smooth. Pour over the cake and serve warm.
