Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 3 three day-old glazed donuts (sliced in half lengthwise (like a bagel))
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instruction
- In a small bowl, beat egg, heavy cream, vanilla extract and cinnamon together until light and frothy.
- Dip each slice of donut into the egg mixture for a couple of seconds, coating the whole thing. Be careful not to leave it in more than just a second or two, or you'll wind up with really soggy donut that is difficult to place down because it will fall apart.
- Cook donut slices on lightly greased nonstick griddle or skillet on medium heat until golden on both sides.
- Serve hot with syrup or honey.
