Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups sour cream

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick baking spray.
  • In small bowl stir together 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon; set aside.
  • In a medium bowl combine 1 1/3 cups flour, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon.  Melt 1/2 cup butter in microwave.  Pour melted butter into the cinnamon flour mixture and stir with a fork until crumbly; set aside.
  • Using a mixer blend the cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar until smooth.  Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla; mix just until incorporated.  Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl whisk together the 2 1/2 cups flour, baking powder and salt.  Using a mixer beat the butter, 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup sugar until light and fluffy.  Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3 eggs; one at a time mixing just until incorporated. Add flour mixture and sour cream in three parts alternating between the two with the mixer on low.  Mix just until ingredients are incorporated.
  • Spread half of the cake batter into the greased baking dish.  Top with the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.  Drop the remaining cake batter on top of the cinnamon sugar in small rounded spoonfuls. Sprinkle with streusel topping. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set in the center.
