Ingredients

The following ingredients have 36 Servings
  • ½ cup butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • pinch salt
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups cinnamon chips
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Instruction

  • Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix the butter and brown sugar on medium speed for several minutes until it turns a pale yellow and is fluffy. Add the salt and vanilla and beat until thoroughly combined.
  • Turn the mixer to low and add the sweetened condensed milk until combined. Next add the flour and mix until completely incorporated.
  • Remove bowl from mixer stand and using a spatula gently fold in the cinnamon chips.
  • Press the no-bake cookie dough into the bottom of the lined 8×8 pan. I used a spatula dipped in water to spread it to the corners.
  • Cover the bars with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours until firm.
  • For the ganache, in the top of a double boiler combine the chocolate chips and whipping cream. Place over simmering water and stir often with a whisk until chocolate is melted and incorporated into a thick sauce.
  • Pour and spread over the top of the chilled dough and chill for 1 hour minimum until firm. Use a sharp knife dipped in hot water and wiped dry to slice into bite size bars.
