Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Canola oil
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tsp Cinnamon

Instruction

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, salt and tablespoons vegetable oil. Bring to a boil and turn off the heat. Stir in flour, mix well until mixture forms a ball.Heat oil for frying in a shallow pan to 375 degrees F. Pipe circular strips of dough into the hot oil using a pastry bag fitted with a medium star tip. Fry on each side 1 -2 minutes flipping when the dough has come together. Fry until golden; drain on paper towels.Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Once cool enough to handle, roll the churros in cinnamon and sugar mixture.Serve and enjoy!
