Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion (or 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh onion)
  • 28 oz can crushed tomato (I used Tuttorosso)
  • 15 oz can diced tomatoes (or 10 oz can Rotel)
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 low carb sugar substitute packet(s) (optional)

Instruction

  • Brown the meat and drain fat if needed.
  • Add the garlic, onion and chili powder and cook with meat for a couple minutes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients.
  • Simmer for about an hour.
