Ingredients

The following ingredients have 3 Servings
  • 10 ounces of pork chorizo
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
  • 1 large avocado, diced
  • 6 slices Texas bread
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter

Instruction

  • Add chorizo to a medium saute pan over low/medium heat. Cook for 7-8 minutes or until done. Remove from heat and set aside. Mix both cheeses in a bowl. Spread a little bit of butter onto one side of the bread. Place on a new skillet buttered-side down and butter the remaining side. Flip after the bottom-side is brown and then top one slice with chorizo, avocado chunks and cheese blend. Top with other slice of bread. Let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Repeat until all sandwiches are complete.
