Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 2 Tbsps butter
  • 3.333 cups Chicken liver (ready to cook, any skin and tendons removed, diced)
  • 0.375 cup dry Red wine
  • 0.5 tsp thyme (chopped)
  • balsamic vinegar
  • sliced Ciabatta (toasted)
  • 2 Tbsps parsley (chopped)

Instruction

  • Fry the onions and garlic in hot butter. Add the liver, fry for a few minutes then deglaze with the wine. Reduce fully then add the thyme and season with vinegar, salt and ground black pepper.
  • Place the mixture on the crostinis and serve garnished with the parsley.
