Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch salt
- Pinch cinnamon ((optional))
- 3 tablespoons non-dairy milk
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon canola oil ((or baking oil of choice))
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons vegan chocolate chips
Instruction
- Stir the flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt and cinnamon together in a microwave-safe mug.
- Add the milk, maple syrup, oil, and vanilla. Stir until completely blended.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Microwave the mug for 1 minute, then check to see if it's done. If not, continue microwaving in 15 second intervals.
- Let the cake cool briefly, the serve it inside the mug with a spoon. Be careful when digging in, as mug cakes can be very ho inside! Optionally top it with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream.
