Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instruction

  • Whisk together the sugar and cocoa in a medium pot until all lumps are gone.
  • Add water and butter and turn to medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Bring to simmer, stirring constantly for about 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and add vanilla once the mixture is cooled. Stir until combined and place in a glass jar and refrigerate. Reheat when read to serve.
