Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 15.25 oz Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
  • 1 cup white chocolate morsels

Instruction

  • Add cake mix, eggs, extract, and vegetable oil to a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix to combine with a wooden spoon.
  • Add dough to parchment paper. Roll up dough and twist up edges.
  • Place dough in the fridge and allow the dough to chill for one hour.
  • While dough is chilling, add candy canes to a zippered bag and crush with a rolling pin until they form small pieces.
  • When dough is ready to work with, preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • Form tablespoon-sized balls and space them 2 inches apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes.
  • Allow cookies to cool for 10 minutes before adding them to a cooling rack. This allows them to harden before icing.
  • Repeat above steps until all cookies are baked.
