Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 2 Tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2-3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 Tablespoons mini chocolate chips ( {optional})
Instruction
- Batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all of the pancake ingredients until well combined. The order in which you combine these ingredients does not matter, just that they are all mixed together completely. Let the batter sit and start to preheat your griddle or pan for cooking the pancakes.
- Cook: Heat the pan to medium temperature for about 3-5 minutes, allowing the pan to heat evenly over the entire surface. Then, lightly spray the griddle with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking. You can also use butter and spread it over the pan as well.
- Next, pour or spoon about a 1/4 cup of the pancake batter onto the griddle to form your pancakes. Flip them over after about 2-3 minutes, when the bubbles form in the center, and the edges look set. Then cook the other side until golden.
- Serve: These are best served with butter and syrup for a delicious treat. You can also make them extra special with whip cream and a fresh berry on top! Serve immediately and enjoy!
