Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Gold Medal™ whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Instruction
- Heat oven to 375°F. Place paper baking cup in each of 12 regular-size muffin cups. In medium bowl, mix buttermilk, butter and egg with spoon until blended. Stir in flours, brown sugar, cocoa, baking soda, vanilla and salt just until moistened. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan. Serve warm or cool.
