Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup medjool dates, (pitted)
  • 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Maldon salt

Instruction

  • Add first six ingredients to a food processor and pulse until mixture is well blended
  • Using your tablespoon measurer start to form balls, rolling between your hands until mixture sticks into a ball shape
  • Transfer chocolate balls to the fridge for at least half hour. Alternatively you can place it in the freeze for 10 minutes
  • Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips either in the microwave or double boiler
  • To coat the chocolate balls with melted chocolate you can either dip the chocolate balls into the melted chocolate or you can drizzle melted chocolate over the balls to coat.
  • Add a pinch of Maldon sea salt on top of each chocolate ball and bring back to the fridge to set.
  • Keep chocolate balls in air tight container
