Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 cup medjool dates, (pitted)
- 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- Maldon salt
Instruction
- Add first six ingredients to a food processor and pulse until mixture is well blended
- Using your tablespoon measurer start to form balls, rolling between your hands until mixture sticks into a ball shape
- Transfer chocolate balls to the fridge for at least half hour. Alternatively you can place it in the freeze for 10 minutes
- Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips either in the microwave or double boiler
- To coat the chocolate balls with melted chocolate you can either dip the chocolate balls into the melted chocolate or you can drizzle melted chocolate over the balls to coat.
- Add a pinch of Maldon sea salt on top of each chocolate ball and bring back to the fridge to set.
- Keep chocolate balls in air tight container
