Ingredients

The following ingredients have 16 Servings
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 6 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup gingerbread cake mix (dry)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 16 oz chocolate chips
  • desired Christmas sugar decorations and sprinkles

Instruction

  • Place Rice Krispies in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  • Melt butter over medium heat in a large pot. Add in marshmallows, reduce heat to low, and stir until marshmallows are completely melted.
  • Stir in dry gingerbread cake mix and cinnamon. Pour over cereal in mixing bowl and stir to combine well.
  • Press into a well greased 9 x 9 baking dish. Allow to cool completely.
  • Cut into 16 even squares.
  • Melt chocolate chips according to package directions. Dip each treat into melted chocolate, shake off excess, and place on a wire rack.
  • Decorate each square and allow chocolate to cool and harden before serving.
