Ingredients
The following ingredients have 16 Servings
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 tbsp butter
- 6 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1/3 cup gingerbread cake mix (dry)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 16 oz chocolate chips
- desired Christmas sugar decorations and sprinkles
Instruction
- Place Rice Krispies in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- Melt butter over medium heat in a large pot. Add in marshmallows, reduce heat to low, and stir until marshmallows are completely melted.
- Stir in dry gingerbread cake mix and cinnamon. Pour over cereal in mixing bowl and stir to combine well.
- Press into a well greased 9 x 9 baking dish. Allow to cool completely.
- Cut into 16 even squares.
- Melt chocolate chips according to package directions. Dip each treat into melted chocolate, shake off excess, and place on a wire rack.
- Decorate each square and allow chocolate to cool and harden before serving.
