Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (firmly packed )
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (milk or dark chocolate can be used)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch cake pan with non-cook spray.
  • In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs.
  • Gradually add flour mixture and mix until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans by hand.
  • Spread dough into the pan. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 22 minutes.
  • Cool completely before cutting.
