Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted or softened)
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 large Nellie's Free Range egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • sea salt and vanilla ice cream (optional)

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 350F and spray an 8-oz. ramekin with cooking spray, and set aside. 
  • In a small bowl, mix together the butter and light brown sugar with a fork or rubber spatula.
  • Mix in the egg yolk and vanilla until combined.
  • Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, and transfer to the prepared ramekin.
  • Bake for 20 to 22 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean.
  • Sprinkle with sea salt or top with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
