- ½ cup oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- ½ cup butter (softened)
- 2 ⅔ cup powdered sugar (sifted)
- ⅓ cup half and half (can use milk or whip cream)
- ⅓ cup cocoa
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
