Ingredients
The following ingredients have 28 Servings
- 1 cup buckwheat
- 1 1/2 cups hazelnuts
- 1 1/2 cups dates pitted
- 2 tbs cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
Instruction
- Place buckwheat in a bowl and cover with cold water. Set aside for an hour. Drain well.
- Place 1/2 cup hazelnuts in the bowl of a food processor and blitz to form a crumb. Remove to a bowl and set aside.
- Put remaining hazelnuts and dates into food processor bowl with drained buckwheat. Blitz well until a paste forms. You may need to scrape down the sides occasionally. Add cocoa and vanilla and process a little longer.
- Using damp hands, roll teaspoons full of mixture into small bowls. Roll in reserved hazelnut crumb.
