- 8 hard taco shells (or soft corn tortillas, warmed according to package instructions)
- shredded lettuce ((iceberg or romaine))
- crumbled queso fresco, (feta cheese, or cotija cheese (about a cup))
- sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
