Ingredients

The following ingredients have 10 Servings
  • 2 1/4 cup self-raising flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 6 egg separated
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Sift together flour, salt and sugar. Place into a bowl and make a well in centre.
  • Add oil, yolks, juice and water. Beat until smooth.
  • Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks are formed. Gradually add extra sugar and beat until stiff.
  • Fold beaten egg whites into batter.
  • Place in greased pan and bake for 55 minutes or until done.
