Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 1 cup chickpeas/garbanzo beans ((cooked and drained))
  • 1 cup mini sweet peppers ((thinly sliced))
  • 1 cup red onion ((coarsely chopped))
  • 1 cup julienned carrots
  • 1/4 cup radish ((finely sliced))
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp kala namak/black salt
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tbsp toasted pine nuts
  • 1 tbsp scallions or chives

Instruction

  • Combine all the ingredients in a salad bowl and mix well.
  • Serve at room temperature or chilled. It can be served as the main course or as a side dish.
