Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 Tablespoon all-purpose flour (for the surface so dough does not stick)
  • 2 cups shredded chicken, cooked
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tablespoons green onion, minced
  • ½ - 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • 1 cup ranch dressing, homemade or store bought

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C.
  • Sprinkle the flour on a flat surface. Roll pizza dough out to a 15" x 10" inch rectangle.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, green onions, shredded cheese, and 1/2 cup of ranch dressing until well combined. (if needed, add more ranch dressing)
  • Evenly place the chicken mixture down the center of the long side of the dough.
  • Roll the dough to enclose the chicken mixture.
  • Place the dough, seam side down on a baking sheet. Brush the egg wash on the dough.
  • Use a knife to slice a few on the top of the dough to allow air to escape.
  • Place the baking sheet on the center rack of the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes. Check stromboli. The exterior should be hard and crispy and the interior cooked through.
  • Remove chicken stromboli from oven, let cool about 5 minutes.
  • Slice and serve with more ranch dressing.
