Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 1kg chicken breast fillets
- 1 red onion
- 2 carrots
- 4 celery sticks
- 100g bacon rashers pieces
- 410g canned tomatoes with basil and garlic
- 375ml Massel Chicken Style Liquid Stock
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Instruction
- Turn on the slow cooker, then add tinned tomatoes, chicken stock and water.
- Slice carrots and celery, then add to the slow cooker.
- In a hot frypan, add olive oil and fry off diced red onion and bacon pieces. Add to the slow cooker.
- Dice chicken fillets and place in the flour. Add olive oil to the pan and shake excess flour from chicken.
- Brown chicken and add to the slow cooker with salt and pepper.
- Place lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for about 6 hours.
