Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 9 chicken thighs (skin & bone removed)
- 200 ml fat free natural yogurt
- 1 tsp garam masala (or curry powder)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lemon (juice only)
Instruction
- Mix all the ingredients (except the chicken) in a non reactive bowl (anything but metal!).
- Marinade the chicken for a few hours but preferably overnight.
- Place the chicken onto skewers and pack tightly.
- To cook on a BBQ, cook on a direct heat until cooked, making sure to turn frequently. This should take between 1 - 1.5 hours.
- To cook in the oven, balance on a roasting tin and cook at 180°C for 1.5-2 hours, making sure to turn the skewer a few times during cooking.
