Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 9 chicken thighs (skin & bone removed)
  • 200 ml fat free natural yogurt
  • 1 tsp garam masala (or curry powder)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lemon (juice only)

Instruction

  • Mix all the ingredients (except the chicken) in a non reactive bowl (anything but metal!).
  • Marinade the chicken for a few hours but preferably overnight.
  • Place the chicken onto skewers and pack tightly.
  • To cook on a BBQ, cook on a direct heat until cooked, making sure to turn frequently. This should take between 1 - 1.5 hours.
  • To cook in the oven, balance on a roasting tin and cook at 180°C for 1.5-2 hours, making sure to turn the skewer a few times during cooking.
