The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts ((about 4 breasts - see step 1))
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, (to taste (about a teaspoon of each))
  • 1 cup all purpose flour, (divided use)
  • 25 saltine crackers, (crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper ((optional))
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • vegetable oil or shortening, (for frying)
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ to 2 cups milk ((more, if necessary))
  • salt and black pepper, (to taste)
