Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup celery, (diced)
- ½ cup onion, (diced)
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, (minced)
- 3 cups fresh broccoli, (chopped)
- 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese
- 4 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 3 cup cooked rice
- salt and pepper, (to taste)
Instruction
- In a Dutch oven, melt butter. Add celery and onion. Cook until starting to soften.
- Add flour and stir. Slowly whisk in broth. Bring to a boil.
- Add remaining ingredients and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until cheese has melted and broccoli is tender.
