Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instruction

  • Heat a medium skillet and warm the olive oil over medium-high heat
  • Meanwhile, pour the milk in one shallow bowl and the breadcrumbs in another shallow bowl
  • Dip each piece of chicken into the milk, then coat with the breadcrumbs
  • Place the chicken in the warm skillet
  • Cook for about 5-10 minutes on each side, until cooked through, flipping at least once
  • Remove the chicken from the pan and cover to keep warm
  • Add the chicken broth and heavy whipping cream
  • Raise the temperature to high and bring to a boil then reduce to low
  • Add the parmesan cheese, basil, and pepper and stir until the cheese has melted
  • Serve the chicken with the cream sauce over it
