Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)
- 2 tbsp basil
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Instruction
- Heat a medium skillet and warm the olive oil over medium-high heat
- Meanwhile, pour the milk in one shallow bowl and the breadcrumbs in another shallow bowl
- Dip each piece of chicken into the milk, then coat with the breadcrumbs
- Place the chicken in the warm skillet
- Cook for about 5-10 minutes on each side, until cooked through, flipping at least once
- Remove the chicken from the pan and cover to keep warm
- Add the chicken broth and heavy whipping cream
- Raise the temperature to high and bring to a boil then reduce to low
- Add the parmesan cheese, basil, and pepper and stir until the cheese has melted
- Serve the chicken with the cream sauce over it
