The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup currants
  • 1 cinnamon stick (4 inches)

  • 1 cup butter or ghee, melted
  • 2 large carrots (½ pound), peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 5 green cardamom pods, bruised
  • 2 pounds chicken thighs, boned and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon rosewater
  • 1½ cups white basmati rice
  • 2 cups dried apricots, chopped
