Ingredients
The following ingredients have 10 Servings
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 cups carrots (sliced)
- 3 stalks celery (sliced)
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsps fresh sage (minced)
- 2 tbsps dried parsley
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp pepper
- 12 cups chicken broth
- 3/4 cup wild rice
- 2 cooked chicken breasts (chopped)
- 1 tsp sea salt
Instruction
- In a large pot heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the onion, carrots, and celery. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the garlic, sage, parsley, paprika, and pepper and stir until fragrant (another minute or so).
- Pour in the chicken broth, wild rice, and chopped chicken. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low for 40 minutes.
- Season with salt (and pepper) to taste.
