Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 25 oz bag frozen popcorn chicken
  • 8 Eggo waffles
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (I used cheddar)
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup 100% pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • Optional: extra maple syrup and hot sauce to drizzle over top when serving

Instruction

  • Bake the frozen popcorn chicken according to package directions.
  • Toast the waffles and then cut into cubes. Place into a greased/ buttered 9×13 baking dish. Add the cooked popcorn chicken (cut the larger pieces of chicken in half) and cheese and toss together until evenly combined.
  • In a bowl beat together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, and hot sauce. Pour over top the waffles, chicken and cheese. Using the back of a fork, press the waffles down into the egg mixture.
  • Bake in a 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. Serve with extra maple syrup and hot sauce on the side if desired.
