Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger (peeled and minced)
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 1 red onion (cut in half and thinly sliced)
  • 3 bell peppers (cored, seeded and thinly sliced (any color, I used red, green and yellow))
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
  • 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro leaves ((optional garnish))
