Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound chicken cut into thin slices
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon oil canola (vegetable or peanut oil)
- salt & pepper to taste
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger minced or finely grated
- 1/2 pound mushroom cut into thin slices
- 2 tablespoon scallions use both white & green parts; cut into 2-inch pieces
- Stir-fry Sauce:
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon rice wine
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- Oil for cooking (canola, vegetable or peanut oil)
Instruction
- In bowl, combine the ingredients for the sauce – soy sauce, rice wine, cornstarch, and sugar.
- In a large pan on medium-high heat,Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan, Once the oil is hot.add the sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. add chicken, season with salt, pepper and the sauce . and sauté until cooked through and browned.
- add a little bit of oil ,add the mushrooms and stir until heated through.about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the scallions and give it another 30 seconds, Serve right away.
