Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 8 ounce(s) semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoon(s) butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup(s) granulated sugar, plus more for decorating
  • 3/4 cup(s) ground almonds or almond flour

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave
  • Stir softened butter into chocolate
  • Beat eggs and add sugar
  • Continue beating until egg mixture is light
  • Gently stir egg mixture into chocolate mixture
  • Add ground almonds, combining very well, but gently
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight
  • Form into 1 in. balls and roll in bowl of granulated sugar.
  • Place on lined cookie sheet
  • Bake for 8-10 min. or until set
