Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup butter (or two sticks)
  • 2/3 cups light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup Karo® Corn Syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 cups plain granola
  • 1 cup dried cherries

Instruction

  • First, in a mixing bowl mix together butter, light brown sugar and Karo® Corn Syrup until smooth- about 2 minutes. 
  • Next, add egg and vanilla and mix for about 2 minutes.
  • Then, in a separate bowl, add flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  • Next, add 1/3 of the flour mixture at a time to butter sugar mixture mixing well after each addition. Mixture will be light and fluffy.
  • Then, stir in granola and cherries until well combined.
  • Next, refrigerate cookie dough for one hour. Dough will be easier to handle.
  • Then, preheat oven to 350F.
  • Next, add parchment paper to cookie sheets or spray with oil. Put one spoonful of cookie dough spaced two inches apart from each side.
  • Then, bake on 350F for 10-12 minutes. Let cool on cooling racks.
