Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- 3 cups dried Pinto Beans
- 3 quarts Water
- 6 slices about 8 ounces uncooked Bacon, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup diced Onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped Garlic
- 1/2 Jalapeño (stemmed, seeded, and chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Chile Powder
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
- 1 tablespoon Salt

- In a medium large stockpot, soak beans overnight in the water (to cover).
