Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 1/2 cups 3 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp. pure almond extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 12-ounce bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1o-ounce jar Maraschino cherries, drained and quartered
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- Cream butter, sugar, egg, and almond extract in a large bowl with a hand mixer until fluffy.
- Mix in flour and salt just until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and cherry pieces, gently.
- Place in the refrigerator and chill for about 30 minutes.
- Roll chilled dough into 2" balls and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake until lightly browned (12 to 14 minutes).
- Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet.
- Gently transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool completely before serving.
