The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 box Duncan Hines butter recipe yellow cake mix
- 3 oz. box cherry flavored Jell-O gelatin
- 3/4 cup canola oil
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 3/4 cup cream (or half-and-half)
- 4 cups pitted, halved cherries
- 1/4 cup poppyseeds ((I only had about 3 tablespoons))
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. cherry extract
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 1/2 tsp. water (as needed)
- fresh cherries or cherry halves (for garnish, if desired)
