Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup Cherry Coke
  • 2 Tbsps brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsps worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsps lime juice
  • kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes
  • 6 to 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or 4 chicken breasts)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Instruction

  • Put the ketchup, Cherry Coke, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, lime juice, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to simmer 12 to 15 minutes, stirring a few times.Note: Watch carefully as this comes to a boil, if it bubbles up remove from heat for a moment.
  • Coat the chicken with olive oil and season both sides with kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
  • Grill the chicken for 4 to 6 minutes per side, brushing with some of the Cherry Coke glaze throughout.
  • Serve the chicken with remaining glaze for dipping.
