Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup Cherry Coke
- 2 Tbsps brown sugar
- 2 Tbsps worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsps lime juice
- kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes
- 6 to 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or 4 chicken breasts)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Instruction
- Put the ketchup, Cherry Coke, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, lime juice, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to simmer 12 to 15 minutes, stirring a few times.Note: Watch carefully as this comes to a boil, if it bubbles up remove from heat for a moment.
- Coat the chicken with olive oil and season both sides with kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
- Grill the chicken for 4 to 6 minutes per side, brushing with some of the Cherry Coke glaze throughout.
- Serve the chicken with remaining glaze for dipping.
