The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- 6 cups pitted sour cherries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt

Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×9 inch baking pan with nonstick baking spray.
- In a large pot combine the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, water and cinnamon. Bring it to a low boil and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir several times.

- Pour the warm cherry mixture into the prepared dish. Drop the batter by rounded tablespoons onto the hot liquid. Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cherry mixture is bubbly.
