Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup dark cherries (pitted and diced)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cherry brandy (optional)

Instruction

  • Heat 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  • Whisk in the cocoa powder and when it is incorporated, whisk in the sugar and stir until it's dissolved.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the brandy.
  • Pour into a bowl and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
  • Process in ice cream maker per instructions.
  • When finished, fold in cherries. Scoop into a lidded container and store in the freezer.
