Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- ¼ cup pickled jalapenos (chopped and drained (plus more for garnish))
- 1 4-oz. can diced green chilies, drained
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 8 oz. Cabot Pepper Jack cheese (grated)
- 4 oz. Cabot Seriously Sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
- 1 loaf French bread (sliced horizontally)
- green onions (chopped)
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Using a small bowl, add butter, olive oil, garlic, jalapenos, chilies, salt, Pepper Jack and cheddar; stir until well combined.
- Spread mixture onto both halves of the French bread and lay bread on parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Lay several whole pickled jalapenos on top of the bread.
- Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until cheese has fully melted.
- {Optional} Broil on high heat for 2-3 minutes, or until edges of bread turn crispy. (Note: Watch this stage very carefully to prevent bread from burning!)
- Sprinkle top with green onions and slice into 1” pieces for serving.
