Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 1 pound lean sausage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups shredded hash browns
  • 8 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup 2% milk
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large skillet over medium heat brown the meat.  Using a spatula make small crumbles with the meat and then set aside. Add olive oil to another skillet over medium heat.  Add hash browns and cook for 10 minutes flipping occasionally.  Add meat to the hash browns and set everything aside. In a large bowl add eggs, milk, cheese, salt and pepper.  Mix until everything is well incorporated. Add meat and hashbrowns to a greased pie baking dish and then top with egg mixture. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
