Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pounds lean ground beef
- taco seasoning (1 packet or 3 tablespoons homemade)
- .5 cups water (or beef broth)
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheese (Mexican blend or cheddar, Colby Jack or Monterey Jack)
- 1/2 cup chunky tomato salsa
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cook ground beef in a medium skillet until no longer pink, drain grease if needed
- Add taco seasoning and water, and simmer until most of the liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat
- Add meat to greased 2 quart casserole dish, and mix in 1 cup shredded cheese, cream cheese and salsa
- Spread mixture evenly in dish, smooth with spoon, and top with remaining shredded cheese
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly and cheese is melted
- Remove from oven, and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
