Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 6 bread slices
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon maida/all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup milk (boiled and cooled)
- 2 teaspoons grated cheese
- 1/2 cup sweet corn kernels (boiled)
- 1/2 green bell pepper (finely chopped)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
- Salt
Instruction
- Toast the bread slices until crisp. You ca do this by toasting the bread slices on a preheated oven at 180C for 5 minutes or on a tava on stove top.
- heat butter in a pan and let it brown slightly.
- Add maida/flour and whisk very well in low heat.
- Add milk and whisk well until the sauce turns thick and smooth.Add salt, pepper powder and mix well.
- now add cheese and mix very well. Switch off the flame. Add the vegetables and mix well
- Now spread 2-3 teaspoons of this spread on each bread slice and toast in the preheated oven or tava.Serve corn cheese toast hot.
