Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup parmesan grated
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 60 g butter melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp mixed dried herbs
  • 1 tsp parmesan grated *to dress

Instruction

  • Grease a 12 cm x 22 cm loaf pan. Line base and sides with baking paper, extending paper 2 cm above sides of pan.
  • Place flour, salt and cheeses into a large bowl. Stir to combine.
  • Add eggs, butter and milk. Mix well to combine.
  • Add herbs or other flavouring of choice, if using.
  • Spoon into pan, smooth over top and sprinkle with extra Parmesan.
  • Bake at 180C for 40 minutes or until cooked when tested with a skewer. Stand for 5 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.
