Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instruction
- In a small bowl, combine warm water with granulated sugar and active dry yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt and cheese.
- Add in yeast mixture and melted butter, mix until a dough forms. Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth. Place dough into a large greased bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise for 1-2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Deflate dough and divide into two pieces. Roll each piece into a large ball and place onto a large greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise for another 30-60 minutes. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
