Ingredients

The following ingredients have 9 Servings
  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp all spice
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 flax eggs ((2 tbsp flaxseed meal+5 tbsp water))
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp almond milk (or milk of choice )

Instruction

  • Preheat oven 350°.
  • Combine flour, protein powder, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, all spice, and nutmeg in a large bowl and set aside.
  • In a smaller bowl, whisk together flax eggs, syrup, oil, and vanilla together.
  • Fold wet and dry ingredients together with a spatula, then transfer them to a parchment-lined 8x8 baking dish.
  • Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until edges are set. Remove from the oven, then wait until the bars cool before cutting them.
  • Optional: drizzle glaze overtop.
