Ingredients
The following ingredients have 9 Servings
- 1 1/2 cups oat flour
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp all spice
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 2 flax eggs ((2 tbsp flaxseed meal+5 tbsp water))
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp almond milk (or milk of choice )
Instruction
- Preheat oven 350°.
- Combine flour, protein powder, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, all spice, and nutmeg in a large bowl and set aside.
- In a smaller bowl, whisk together flax eggs, syrup, oil, and vanilla together.
- Fold wet and dry ingredients together with a spatula, then transfer them to a parchment-lined 8x8 baking dish.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until edges are set. Remove from the oven, then wait until the bars cool before cutting them.
- Optional: drizzle glaze overtop.
