Ingredients
The following ingredients have 2 Servings
- 1 cup rolled oats/porridge oats
- ¾ cup milk (any)
- ¾ cup water
- ⅓ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅕ teaspoon ground ginger and cardamom (each)
- ⅙ teaspoon ground cloves and nutmeg
- 2-3 teaspoons sugar (or maple syrup)
- A good pinch of fine sea salt and black pepper
Instruction
- In a saucepan combine the oats with the water, milk, spices, seasoning and sugar.
- Bring to the boil then lower the heat and cook for 3 minutes or until the porridge is thick and creamy, stirring often.
- Remove from the heat, top with your favourite fruit and serve.
